Two defining years 1986 and 2013. At 13, I started painting, a small picture for my mother, as a call to what I was meant to be. At 40, I created Atelier Indigo, my drawing school, a small miracle achieved in less than 6 months. Painting and passing on art became the essential part of my life. What I've received, I must give. It also means opening a way for others, supporting and sharing what you know.

In short, in 20 years I've worked as an architect, editor, art teacher, gallery owner and artist. I've never spread myself too thin; I'm delighted to have had so many experiences in a single lifetime. The only common vector is Art and the Freedom to create.
My large studio is a place I keep to myself, where few people are invited. It's my main creative space, where immobility reigns. I love this silent cocoon, where white canvases stand side by side with works in the making. In my work circle stand 7 easels, like a sacred place for me.
I can have up to 5 canvases going at the same time. This is also due to the drying time of the oil, which can take up to 5 days. The paintings have up to 3 layers, sometimes 4. This circle of easels is where I feel at my best, out of time, just me to me, in front of a canvas. It's a long-term process, but the phase that excites me the most is obviously when the canvas reveals itself in the 1st layer. It's as if the work already existed, it just had to be brought to life.
