ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

My husband Fabien
The first person who comes to my heart and whom I thank is Fabien, my husband. He accompanies me in all my projects, from the nail in the coffin to the sound advice. Always there, always present, never refusing anything. A golden man who has lived by my side for 21 years. He's also my first fan, and every time I see a new painting, I want to buy it. «Impossible to let him go», as he put it. A thousand million thanks.
My darling girls
I'd now like to turn to my daughters, my fleas, whom I love so much. They've been immensely supportive and helpful, and have shared with me all the most important moments in my life as a painter and teacher. Sometimes they served at vernissages, sometimes they sang, always heartily. Hanging, framing, tidying up the school, nothing is left to chance. I suggest but don't impose anything. They're always there for me. Thank you, girls, for this sharing, which would not have been possible if I'd stayed in the world of architecture. I've also paid tribute to you with your two half-body portraits, created this year 2019 for you, and I sincerely hope to touch you and make you immortal in the future. But the most important thing for me is to see you happy and fulfilling your own dreams; I'll be there for you in my turn, decorating, tidying up, architecture, it can serve a mother. Thank you all so much.
Myriam
Myriam, my mother-in-law, my friend, my support, my step back. Thank you Mimi, from the bottom of my heart, for your support in this current revelation that is my life as a painter, teacher and gallery owner. Your help is so precious and always enables me to see more clearly in the difficulties I encounter or the exhaltations I feel. You are an Angel. Thank you for your help.
Marilyn
Thank you Marilyn for this magnificent preface and for the immense support in understanding my path as a painter, your attentiveness, your advice, your encouragement that make you a unique friend, capable of quoting Freud and drawing like Giorgione, while asking me the recurring question: «isn't it ridiculous?» and me replying: «it's just magnificent». Thank you.
Daniel and his family
Thanks to Daniel, our friend, without whom I might not have believed in my painting. One day in 2012, he said to me, «Get a studio, get your painting, you're on to something». Without him, I might never have knocked on the door of the sisters at the Institut St-François de Sales in Châtel-St-Denis. He was also symbolically the first buyer who trusted me and visited my first first workshop. Thank you
The gallery team
Thanks to this close-knit team at the gallery, family even, Ana-Rita, Marie-Rose and Myriam, on whom I can count for their gift of time and their heartfelt support. And a special mention for Marie-Rose, who has been with me since room 14, my first studio at the sisters', where so many paintings were born - around a hundred of them. You always find the right words to help me, and you have an incredible intelligence of heart, which always enables you to understand what others are going through. Your humility, kindness and generosity overwhelm me. Thank you, Ana-Rita. Thank you Ana-Rita for your great sense of organization, which often helps at school, and for your loyalty, your attentiveness, your kindness and your sparkling eyes. Thank you, Ana-Rita.
Friends,
Thanks to friends, Fanfan, Khaled and family, Lucie, Simon, Maryvonne, Clement, Teodora and family, Daniel, Sandrine and family, Igor, Carole and family, Ana-Rita and family, Marilyn, Marie-Rose, Myriam and Giovanni.
Giovanni and Mathieu
Thanks to Giovanni who reached out to me, during his solo exhibition in July 2016 at the Montreux palace for the 50th anniversary of Montreux Jazz and to Mathieu Jaton for his confidence in me... 20 of my students were able to exhibit a painting on the theme of jazz. I discovered I discovered your colorful world, which fit in well with my own, all offbeat. Giovanni, you introduced me and my students to the art of collage. And a huge thank you for producing this magnificent book, which reflects all your talent and highlights the path I've travelled. What a story... It's with you and only you that I wanted to do it. Thank you so much.
The Sisters of the St-François de Sales Institute
On a cold November day in 2012, I knocked on their door to ask if they might have a small room to rent, which could be used as a painting studio, to start with... I remember trying to see if the smell of paint and turpentine wouldn't bother my bedroom neighbor on the 1st floor of the house. This was not the case and, on the contrary, it was a wonderful encounter with my sister on the landing, Sister Marie Béatrice, who came to visit me from time to time, unannounced. Memorable, beautiful and spiritual exchanges. I discovered a peaceful world and, in a way, a family. 7 sisters, Sister Agnès de Gonzague (now deceased), Sister Françoise Gabrielle, Sister Jacqueline Marie, Sister Madeleine Espérance, Sister Marie Béatrice, Sister Christine Antoinette and my mentor Sister Suzanne Bernard. The idea of a school matured three months later and Atelier Indigo was born, 9 months later, in August 2013, in their former painting and sewing room. This place still inspires today, by its unique dimension, my painting, my personal path, as well as the hundred or so students of the Atelier. Thank you, my dear sisters.
Workshop 78
Thanks to my colleagues at Atelier 78, on whom I can often count for graphic design, printing, frame delivery... and in particular Florent for your efficiency, kindness and availability. Thank you Christine, for so many years of advice, listening and help... Thank you!
Thank you to all our buyers
Thank you for having honored me with your purchases of paintings from the Galerie d'Art, and a very special thank you to Mr. François Genoud, the current Prefect of the Veveyse region, for his confidence and his instantaneous love affair with the painting by Teysachaux at sunrise, which adorns the walls of the château, the prefecture of Châtel-St-Denis.

To my framer
Many thanks to Anouk Smetana in Puidoux, a wonderful supervisor and friend, a wonderful meeting filled with complicity.
To my students
Thank you to all my students, especially those who have been with me for so long. You're all in my heart, and if I've been able to light a little flame in you through drawing, painting and architecture, then my life won't have been in vain. Giving makes me a much better person, and if my progress has been so meteoric, it's partly thanks to the time and analysis devoted to your drawings. Some 4,000 drawings followed, and many of them remain in my memory, after 7 years of teaching. And yes, my eye has sharpened a little. Also, while preparing the courses, I read so many art books that I was nourished by the artistic prowess of the great masters.
Thanks to all those I forget.
